Abstract: "The nation is the world", Chinese traditional culture should be deeply rooted in the hearts of students, can not let the excellent traditional culture disappear, which is also the responsibility and obligation of every teacher. English as a language subject, its teaching purpose is for exchange and communication. How to infiltrate Chinese culture into English teaching needs to arouse the majority of teachers' thinking.

Ⅰ.The significance of the infiltration of Chinese traditional culture in junior middle school English teaching
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), President Xi Jinping has emphasized cultural confidence in important meetings and talks on many occasions. President Xi pointed out the need to "enhance cultural confidence and value confidence" to convey his cultural ideas and views as a leader in the new era.
According to the clear requirements of the new Curriculum Standard, English teaching is to expand students' cultural undertakings, help students understand the culture of English-speaking countries, improve students' cultural perspectives, and most importantly, deepen their understanding of the excellent traditional Chinese culture. Therefore, as a junior middle school English teacher, we should try our best to develop and innovate in English teaching and establish students' cultural confidence. This is the most important part of English teaching.
With the integration of western culture, many junior middle school students are obsessed with all kinds of cartoons, especially Hollywood animated films and Japanese and Korean comics. In this case, it is more necessary to infiltrate Chinese culture into students' daily teaching activities.
Ⅱ .The role of the infiltration of traditional Chinese culture in English open class
1.It is conducive to the shaping of students' personality
In traditional Chinese culture, "Despect the old and cherish the young", "Don't waste food", "Family", "cherish the old and cherish the young" It is helpful for junior middle school students to form good behavior habits.
2.It is helpful to stimulate students' enthusiasm for English learning
English is not only a language but also a subject. As a junior middle school student, we need to lay a foundation for English learning and correct our attitude towards English learning. As China becomes more and more powerful in the world, more and more people are amazed by the wisdom and civilization of the Chinese nation which has gathered thousands of years. More and more foreigners take it as a fashion to learn Chinese culture. As a Chinese student, they must feel extremely proud and proud, and thus they will think about how to spread more and better national culture around the world, which indirectly becomes their responsibility and obligation in the future. As a global language, English is the best tool for communication. Students have realized that only by better learning English can they carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture. Therefore, the infiltration of Chinese traditional culture in the classroom is very helpful to stimulate the enthusiasm of junior middle school students in English learning.
III. Strategies to Infiltrate Traditional Chinese Culture in English Teaching
English class has become the main place for cultural confidence to permeate. The majority of English teachers should always bear in mind the president's speech, in teaching not only to teach English knowledge, but also to pay attention to the penetration of Chinese traditional culture.
Therefore, in the practice of English teaching, it is necessary to reasonably consider the setting of the classroom to create a rich classroom scene, so that students can fully contact and feel the traditional culture with their heart and soul, so that students can naturally absorb cultural nutrients in the rich classroom atmosphere of the class, and have a deeper feeling and understanding of the connotation of traditional Chinese culture.
Chinese traditional culture forms are diverse. If we want to infiltrate and integrate these traditional cultures into our English teaching, we need the majority of English teachers to spend more time and thought, so as to enrich and innovate the English class.
1.Discover hot issues that permeate Chinese culture
There are many news events happening every day around the world. For example, when the COVID-19 epidemic is sweeping the world in 2020, the dedication of Chinese medical workers, scientists, Party cadres and people from all walks of life demonstrates the spirit of our country. In English classes, teachers can effectively integrate knowledge related to the epidemic into classroom teaching and guide junior middle school students to think about how to combine their future career choice with national development. As the year 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), teachers should share the CPC's great contribution to historical development with students in the curriculum.
2.Infiltrate Chinese culture with reading activities
As an important part of junior middle school English teaching, English reading can comprehensively improve students' English ability. Therefore, it is very necessary to integrate traditional culture into the reading class. However, we should avoid reading for the sake of reading traditional cultural chapters. Reading for the sake of reading will lose its meaning. Before reading, students should reasonably predict the content of traditional culture, guide students to read purposefully, experience the connotation of traditional culture in reading, and read with their own ideas. At the same time, group discussion and exchange of reading experience are adopted to appreciate reading, so as to improve the teaching efficiency of reading class.
For example, in the class of "Good Manners", teachers can introduce movies and television works into the class and ask students to point out those behaviors in the pictures, such as talking loudly in the library or talking loudly on the phone as if nothing had happened. In comparison, the teacher needs to compare the traditional Chinese festivals which imply patriotism, love of family and family reunion. The traditional cultural thoughts of world peace and equality permeate into the classroom. In the process of English learning, we can experience the profound connotation of Chinese culture.
For another example, when explaining the four seasons and meteorology, the 24 solar terms in traditional Chinese culture can be effectively included in the class. In this way, in the English class integrating the 24 solar terms and seasons, students can absorb knowledge about meteorology as well as the relationship between traditional Chinese culture and seasons. Qingming Festival and Halloween have the same meaning to some extent, but Chinese and Western cultures are different, and the two festivals have different forms of expression. Qingming Festival is both a solar term and a holiday. Take festivals or solar terms like this as an opportunity to understand the origin of Tomb-sweeping Day and the customs of Tomb-sweeping Day.
As for the study of traditional festivals, students learn about them in advance through preview and searching for information independently. The teacher will communicate and discuss with the students through interesting animated stories, and guide the students to learn and understand the traditional Chinese culture in the way they like.
The combination of Chinese traditional festivals, Chinese traditional food and national traditional culture makes an English teaching activity more colorful.
4. Enhance students' class experience through role-playing
As students broaden their horizons and experience, the forms of classes can become more varied and flexible. Schoolbook drama is a good format. The English class in junior middle school is the main place to permeate the cultural confidence, its importance is self-evident, therefore, the majority of English teachers should fully explore and pay attention to the English class teaching in junior middle school, the primary work is to spread Chinese traditional culture, improve national confidence. In the important position of spreading cultural confidence, teachers have also innovated and effectively integrated English teaching and Chinese traditional culture.
Not forgetting the original aspiration and keeping the mission in mind, the vast majority of English teachers make a modest contribution to the spread of Chinese traditional culture and the establishment of cultural confidence on the frontline English teaching positions in junior middle schools.
