Five: Teaching process
Step1:课前预习
预习Page 3上的生词和短语，根据音标会读。把不会的生词，短语和句式等做上特殊的符号。在预习的过程中，也可以周围的同学交流，互相学习。
Step2: Grammar Focus
先让全班学生齐读这些句子2遍，接着再分男生，女生分角色各读2遍。把学生分成5组，评出最优秀的一组，给予表扬。然后让所有学生动脑观察情态动词can 的用法并总结与大家分享。两人一组进行仿照Grammar Focus练习对话，也可以自由发挥，最后给全班学生表演，表演好的学生进行表扬，不太好的孩子进行指导鼓励。
Step3：语法总结（can的用法）
1.can是一个情态动词，表示一种能力，意愿等。
2.can后跟动词原形，不随主语的变化而变化。
3.肯定句：I can play the guitar./He can sing.
4.否定句：I can't play the guitar./He can't sing.(注意缩写形式)
5.一般疑问句：Can you play the guitar ?/ Can he sing?
6.特殊疑问句: What can you do?/What can he do?
Step4：练一练
1.The boy can join (join) the sports club.(填空)
2.I can speak Chinese.(改为否定句)
I can’t speak Chinese.
3.The girls can play volleyball.(改为一般疑问句)
Can the girls play volleyball ?
4.He can tell stories (改为一般疑问句)
Can he tell stories?
5 . Can Tom speak English?(否定回答)
No, he can’t .
6.He want to join (join) the music club.(用括号里的单词的正确形式填空)

Step5：完成P3上的3a,3b，3c
在3a中，老师提醒学生认真观察范例，用给的单词和词组写出问题和答案;在3b中，选词填空，语句通顺，每个单词只能用一次，注意所填单词的形式;在3c中，统计小组学生会做什么。当学生做的时候，老师要注意观察，当看到有学生做对一个小题时，及时表扬。当看到有学生遇到困难时或出现一点小问题时，及时给予帮助，注意语气语调，不要给学生造成压力，发现优点，给予表扬。
Step6:高频考点

易错点：want to do sth中的do是个代动词，代替的是任意一个动词原形。
Tom wants to tell (tell) stories. 一些学生易填为 to do.

3.play the guitar 注意：中间有一个冠词the,因为演奏的是乐器名词 。
